Drebin was a CMDR, under the fold of one of the Federation's proxy wars, with him being the only survivor out of his unit. He was coerced into fighting for a small pirate anti-imperial rebel group, the Yuri's Resistance Army (YRA). He thrived in combat zones, up until the time he required a eye-cyberisation due to a boarding incident.

Drebin was eventually recruited as an agent of the Federation, where he was then placed into the "Drebin" module laundering programme (where he acquired the moniker 'Drebin'). Laundering modules for various unknown proxy conflicts, Drebin proclaims the real reason he was allowed to launder guns was not because "he had access' to such offensive-capable modules", but because the Federation simply "let him."

During the advent of the module economy, his customers included various local militias and small PMCs in systems such as Fehu, Cubeo, Argestes, Masszony, Frey, Bakonirtari, Acokwa, Airman Di, Bhumian Ku and Colonia.

Drebin currently serves as one of four Hull Seals administrators, and is originator of the Hull Seals regimental branding.
