Once I was a carefree kid ready to take on the 'verse. Found a cause, joined, and fought for it. Got nothing but a heap of trouble for my efforts. Began wandering about, flying, fighting, and finding work to get by, avoiding anything resembling a cause. Little jaded in that regard. Met a woman and fell in love. Got a daughter and a Dear John for my efforts. Now I'm out here in the black just trying to get by, raise my daughter right, and make a life for the two of us.
