He is the son of Frédéric and Danielle and was born in one of the oldest villages in Pays de Cauz, Veules-les-Roses, in France, located on planet Earth in the Sol system. His family barely managed to endure the destruction of their country during the global thermonuclear war. His father, a member of a prestigious team of engineers working on the hyperdrive module to enable travel to other planets, was chosen to be part of the colonization effort on planet Mars. It was a difficult period, surviving after being exposed to radiation, and, consequently, both of his parents died a couple of years later.
Expréssion was affected differently by this radiation exposure. His growing genes underwent a complete change, making him more durable. Before his parents died, he was adopted by his uncle, who was a tenacious secret agent working for the Federation. Expréssion was sent to college and then to the military academy. He was admired for his accomplishments. At a historical event, he saved the life of Admiral Lucas Vincent's son and was given a Sidewinder equipped with a frame ship drive prototype as a token of appreciation and thanks. His love for space travel exploration made him ambitious to push further his abilities in enhancing the FSD prototype. This caught the attention of Felicity Farseer, a legendary explorer, who adopted Expréssion's discovery to engineer her Asp Explorer.
On the night when Felicity was to make public the newly enhanced version of FSD, Expréssion's ship performed a secret jump to another system, and in the process, the FSD overheated, causing malfunctions and the destruction of his Sidewinder. Left unconscious in his escape pod capsule and drifting into the void of space, he was picked up by a pirate going by the name of Captain Harlock. Unable to fully recognize the inscription on the metal tag, he called this fellow survivor XpressioN. Due to memory loss, he couldn't remember what happened and ventured into piracy, quickly earning a name of his own.
He was captured by the Empire and traded as a slave. He attempted several escapes but proved unsuccessful. He was transferred to a reinforced security cell near the Duval palace. Princess Aisling Duval often ventured into the Palace gardens when, one day, she heard someone whistling a beautiful song. She was captivated and demanded to be led to that location. She approached a small window in the prison wall and asked for the title of the song. XpressioN promptly gave her the title and continued to sing. The princess inquired about XpressioN's life and eventually set him free.
With only 10,000 credits and no ship to return to his old ways, he ventured with an engineer who experimented with thrusters. One day, he was stopped by one of Harlock's assassins and got involved in a fight. XpressioN was bruised; however, he managed to escape. In this ordeal, he fell into a pit and was left unconscious. His fellow friend, the engineer, found him and took him to his place. When XpressioN woke up, he couldn't see and suddenly started remembering his childhood. Given some credits, he exploited the system and worked out his first 350k credits. He bought a Cobra MkIII and named it Nebuchadnezzar after his uncle. Being a multipurpose vessel capable of performing very well in any role, he used it for trading between the starport Trevithick Dock in the LHS 3447 system and the starports found in Eravate.
While in the Eravate system, XpressioN was preparing to export a shipment of Surface Stabilizers from the Russell Ring starport. He got stopped by a retired old man. He recognized him as a good old friend of his father. They sat down and began discussing the many adventures he had. At the end of that evening, he revealed that his father was an Elite commander with a wealth of experience. XpressioN got inspired to continue his journey toward ranking up to Elite, just like his father before him.
XpressioN is one of the Quintuple Elite commanders, excelling in Trading, Exploration, Exobiology, Mercenary, and Combat categories. He has attained the highest federal navy rank, that of Admiral, as well as the top imperial navy rank, King. He owns multiple ships that he uses to complete a wide range of missions. Recently, he reunited with his sister, Quadasha aka QuadAlert, they form an alliance to help those in need. However, no one knows XpressioN's whereabouts. If you cannot find him, he's surely out there in the black void, exploring the many systems, out there.
