The most that I can say for sure, and backed up with video evidence, is that I was born on Earth into this life. The childhood part has always been fuzzy to my mind and a part of me is happy with that, as unnerving as it sounds. I don't want to remember a childhood that made me feel like garbage and just focus on the beauty out there right now. Now, I can recall that I served in the Federation at the age of eighteen. I was a part of a deep space research team as part of their security aboard the "Monolith" Farragut Battle Cruiser. Back then I operated between a couple of fighters and some of the Monolith's defense batteries. Though it was a short lived venture, it was not long when we got into our journey that we ran into trouble. A saboteur aboard the Monolith had crippled the drives, leaving us dead in the water with help far away. Moments later a Majestic Interdictor pulled out of hyperspace alongside our fleet, tearing into us. The battle raged on and roared with such violence and bloodshed, I was forced back to the Monolith after taking damage to my Condor's drive. As I was making my way to the hanger bay, a torpedo struck into the frame shift drive of the Monolith. The torpedo sent the drive into an overloaded state that pulled open an uncharted window through hyperspace that sucked the Monolith, most of the fleet, and myself through the opening. I wasn't in the hanger bay at the time so the doctors theorize that I was ejected out at a random point and possibly further than the Monolith got to. All they really know for sure is that they found me unconscious aboard a heavily damaged Federal Corvette that drifted up to a Federation station. The docs say that my eyes have been damaged because the anomalous jump through hyperspace had stripped away many of the protective tinting and shields away from my ship, so when I dropped out in a system looking directly into a Neutron Star, the resulting effect has changed the coloration of my eyes to a bleached state and my vision down to a minimum. But over the last few years, my vision has been slowly returning to me. So much so, that I was medically fit to fly again.

I won't forgive the Empire for what they did to me that day, ever.

My memory is still fuzzy ever since the crash, but it's more like they are just lost at the moment.
