Once described by Professor E. Chivian of the Center for Health in Interstellar Environments at Harvard Medical School as "a force of nature", Commander Babakoto Conilocks (or "Coni" for short) is an Environmental Biologist specialising in astroecology and the challenges of maintaining life support systems in deep space.

Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Coni is the son of the esteemed Earth 3218 mission leaders, Noah and Geraldine Conilocks. Earth 3218 was an initiative to gather some of the greatest scientific, engineering and creative minds on Earth to establish a cultural hub at the Galileo starport in Sol, led by the belief that the rapid expansion of human societies and economies throughout the galaxy would only be sustainable if it held human health and well-being at it's core. From Galileo, the Earth 3218 project trained a new generation of explorers, scientists and artists to spread these basic humanist values to star systems far and wide.

Today, though Galileo is his adopted home, Coni spends most of his time in deep space, gathering data on unexplored and unmapped star systems, searching for signs of alien life which might provide insights into survival strategies in the harshest planetary environments. He is the founder of Elite Resilience, a squadron dedicated to improving human well-being throughout inhabited star systems, and supporting commanders of all stripes who are searching for kinship in the vast blackness of space.
