J. Brown (he tends to not reveal his first name) is a young, excentric Commander with a good temperament. He smiles and laughs a lot, which makes him a charismatic trader, but he also has a mean streak if he gets angry. He despises independent pilots who choose to prey on new or weaker commanders.

He is of a non-violent nature but he does enjoy a bit of space battle from time to time, so in addition to his cargo hauler he owns a combat ship he uses for bounty hunting or other combat activities.
He is rather lawful, and while he has not pledged himself to any of the superpowers yet, he does a lot of jobs for the Federation.
