I was born to hippy parents who lived a life of travelling around and `seeking answers to life's big questions`, which basically involved them smoking lots of strange substances, protests against the authorities and generally getting into trouble with the space cops. They were good people at heart, but lacked discipline and while in my mid-teens, I made my move to break away and join the Outer Worlds Research Campus. During this time, I learned to pilot small exploration craft, where I found that I had a knack for dodging bullets and turning the table on those individuals who had it in for us. The edge of the bubble can be a hostile place. I have often had to mix science/research with combat - two disciplines that probably should not go together.
