Hassan was born in the year 3281 to the parents of Idriss Assod, and Matron Roda Heraclius Valantinian. Due to his mothers nobility, he was raised in luxury on the planet New California, an Earthlike world in the process of further terraforming in the Liabeze System. His parents were often absent during Hassan's childhood and early teenage life due to his father, an avid explorer, leaving on long expeditions into the frontier of the human bubble. His mother on the otherhand was an important member of the Liabeze Patron's Principles that operated on the nearby system of Achenar, the Imperial Capital. Hassan was thus raised by the Imperial Slaves of the household, which sat separate from the Dome city, Arcaleus, the only major city in New California. Hassan spent his childhood being educated in Imperial customs and learning and spent his free time exploring the wilderness outside of the habitation domes in his pressure suit.
