Born to a poor family on Beekman Vision in Saffron, Corvus worked at many jobs to make his meager ends meet and keep fed. Before he was 14 he had managed to eke out a living onboard a trading ship. From cleaning to cooking to loading cargo, Corvus learned the various jobs aboard a trading ship. In time, he was able to afford a small, used sidewinder and began his career as a self-sufficient trader and explorer.
