My name is Commander Silver Batfish. I was born at Ahern Enterprises in the Tellus system 3220. My mother, was a successful doctor and scientist, while my father was an artist. I inherited my mother's attention to detail along with my father's creativity and form of expression.
My mother spent most of her days off station; sampling the DNA from the latest virus plaguing the local systems. As a consequence, I spent countless hours watching my father; Lawrence working in his studio. I would marvel at the way he could form something meaningful from various blocks of alloy he had collected; fascinated by his use of forming tools and Sonic hammers.
At the age of 15, I had already decided to follow in my father's footsteps, working in a side room of his now very successful studio. My mother Barbara Lore Bauer was heavily involved with a consortium of scientists; doing the really important work of saving lives. The space between my parent's chosen paths created a constant tension. In 3228 my father and I were both feeling the pressure to move back to Heikegar and the newly founded 'The Northern culture' faction. I saw little of my mother at this time as she was in constant negotiations with the Alliance and Edmund Mahon to remain independent and tread our path.
In 3239 everything changed, my relationship with my father deteriorated as I wanted to change my career. A move to Heikegar is a real possibility. After a visit from my mother to yet again try and convince us to relocate she goes missing in mysterious circumstances.
In 3241 I finally moved out to Heikegar on my own and began the career I very much needed. I became a miner of the very materials id used in my art practice and with it the wealth in credits to explore. It's at this point my story begins as a serendipitous meeting draws me closer to the faction my mother created and its people.
