The first record to exist comes from old archival information the Federation has classified or destroyed (the latter is more likely) as they hunted for him in 3300 when he returned to the Bubble after spending years in Deep Space without contact from human civilization. His age is unknown with many saying he has aged slowly since the last time they saw him. No family is known to be alive.
