My name is Bernard Stein. Born and raised in a family of five in a surface colony on LHS 3295, one of many federal backwaters in the bubble.
Our parents were successful specialists for Gold Universal Co. After going through the education system, I became a geologist. Like everyone else in the settlement, I followed in our parents' footsteps working for the corporation.

Initially, I fulfilled my taste for the unknown through my work; exploring and prospecting new worlds for their riches and claiming economically viable deposits on them for Gold Uni Co.
As I had no say in what systems we visited and stayed way too close to the bubble for my taste, I eventually quit my job and got my pilot's license.
After going into trade for a while to get financial security, I started to follow my own intuition into the black.

Since November 3308 I have found a new home in the Baya system after joining the fledgling squadron Traders & Explorers Inc. [TNEI]. While taking over the system is a matter of time, we keep a wary eye skywards for a possible Thargoid invasion. It would be a severe case of irony to loose the system to them just after securing control. Time will tell.
