Mercer Devereux Guncult, Named after his daddy and his daddy before him being the fourth in all to hold that name. was born to a family of lower class farmers from Hahn Gateway in the Nanomam System. Like his family he worked the Agri-labs with his father and 2 brothers. until he finished school. two days after his graduation ceremonies he joined the Nanomam defense force and entered flight school. His first post was as a Condor pilot attached to a Anaconda that patrolled nav-beacon traffic. When he finished his 5 year contract. he traveled to the tollan System and worked as deckhand on a Type 9 Mining vessel intill he saved up enough credits to buy his own ship.
