Born and raised on the outer colonies of the Witch Head Nebula, Velok (pronounced velek) grew up a son to a humble space logistics pilot named William Graves Ala'har. One day, while William was out on a delivery, Thargroids attacked the colony and wiped out everyone. Velok was the only one to survive thanks to his mother who shielded him from the blasts. His father, upon returning, could not find Velok anywhere and took his own life, believing his family had perished in the attack. All that was left of Velok's parents was his father's Adder. Velok had flown with his father before and knew how to pilot a basic starship. He found his way to his father's landing pad in what remained of the station and took his place in the cockpit. From there, Velok has built an empire of trade ships and mining vessels, all with one goal in mind--funding his revenge on the Thargroids.
