The longreach family is a family of traders, Quento's father, and his father before him, have set a foothold in Eranin and the surrounding star systems and a group of traders.
Quento, after watching his father pilot his trading ship, the Type 9 named "The Broken Wagon" dreamed of following in his fathers footsteps, and becoming a trader just like him.
He watched and learned all he could about the different ships, and the family Business, until one day, the day finally came for him to pilot his own ship, he set out to the stars, doing simple trading missions to earn enough money for a bigger better ship, until he finally got what he believed to be his first proper trading ship, the Type 6, named "The traveling merchant".
While Quento was never the best trader, he got the job done, and earned a steady income, but it wasn't enough for him.
he tried changing ship, but the Type 6 always seemed better to him, until one day he got overconfident.
he decided to do a mission that 2 or 3 CMDR's should do together, but he wanted to do it himself, so he got prepared, and spent the next 24 hours of his life, jumping and jumping from station back to station, shipping the seemingly endless supply of cargo that needed to be moved.
In the end, he did it, but not without a cost.
the triumph cost him his energy, to the point of burning himself out, so, he docked in a station and lived there for a number of months, living off the large amount of money he got for completing the mission.
nearly 6 months later, he returns to space, with a new hope in his eyes.
He was going to explore the galaxy, living out his days out in the empty expanse of space.
so, he dropped everything, bought a Diamondback Explorer, and went out into deep space.
this Journey would get his name on his first star system, and then inspire him to buy his next ship, the Krait Phantom.
sadly in the process of buying it, he had to sell his Diamondback explorer, but he still remembers the first ship that gave him his first taste of exploration.
While on his journeys, he came across a group called Canonn.
he saw what they were doing and decided to join them in their efforts to uncover the mysteries of the galaxy, and so now he explores in their name.
