Born in 3280 in Taylor City Station, Vega system, from a Vega independent father who was a mechanic and worked at Budrys Terminal on Popov Reward; and a Rhea-native scientist mother who worked at Delbruck Lab ++. Michael spent his whole youth in that system; his father would take him to the only terraformed world Tracy's Haven to trade with the indigenous locals and on other planetary stations. That is where his love for space grew and always wanted to be a pilot like his father. Therefore, Michael dreamed of learning to fly into space, into the unknown and set it as a goal in life very young.
The dream came through when he was accepted in the Pilot's Federation Academy for young pilots, where he excelled.
His love for discovery and space made him leave the protected system quicker to explore the untouched space and to finally see Sol system, the cradle of humanity.
