Character
KZ has a fiercely loyal personality, proven by his previous dedication to his corporate laboratories and also to his family.  Now, released from both, he finds himself without a Master.  A Ronin.

Unlike a Ronin, KZ has had a lifetime of winning negotiations with corporate bureaucrats and managing a hectic family life - he is sociable and tactful, able to exert influence wherever he goes.  Few other independent pilots bring this much life experience to the PIlot's Federation.


Trivia / Fun Facts:
- Born and raised on Judson Station in Mizar
- Developed affinity for galactic science as a young boy while parents worked for the corps
- While in college, K.Z. followed a girl and fell in with a group who were aligned with the Alliance.
- Was torn between Federation-sci/tech supporting grandparents in Khernidjal, and then girlfriend who was stanchly anti-slavery

- Married Juni shortly after graduation and moved to Alcor to work at Galactic Vision, who were recruiting heavily
- Son born 3286, now 20 yrs old
- Pursued doctorate in astrobiology while employed

- On son leaving for college, Juni became more involved with anti-slavers, a faction with violent criminal ties.  This concerned KZ deeply as she became more and more obsessed with anti-slavery.
- Eventually they filed for divorce when KZ expressed the desire to move elsewhere, explore the bubble, but Juni insisted on staying planet-side to support her faction.  They two, having few assets, separated amicably.

- Still believes in freedom of all living things, and also for the right of the people to choose their government.
