Anna Locke was born on Capitol to her Mother, Rachel, a long serving officer of the Imperial Navy and her Father, Samuel, a pilot for a merchant company. At the age of 18, Anna enlisted into the Imperial Navy and due to her education and family connections, she quickly climbed the ranks.
During her service in the Navy, she specialised as a fighter pilot and was given command of a squadron, earning her a fierce reputation among her squadron and the nickname “Atomic Bomb” by her colleagues.
In 3301, at age 29, Anna retired from the Navy after 11 years of service. She applied for a Pilots License with the Pilots Federation and bought her first ship, a Cobra Mk III and spent a few months collecting bounties. Anna made her first trip out of the bubble to the Pleiades Nebula. With the credits earned from the exploration trip, she purchased a Type-6 Transporter and spend the next months trading rare commodities around the bubble.
In the late summer of 3301, the Distant Worlds Expedition was announced, and Anna quickly signed up. With the credits she had saved, she purchased an Asp Explorer which she named the Midsummer Night and set off for the Expedition. Anna reached Beagle Point on the 2nd April 3302 with the Expedition, however during the journey she succumbed to the condition informally named by explorers as “Space Madness”.
On the return journey, Anna with some of her space mad friends co-founded a Void worshipping group that is today known as The Order of Enblackenment.
The Order of Enblackenment is now an established, multi-system faction that is headquartered in the 9 Aurigae system.
In June 3302, Anna, with the help from some friends organised the Crab Nebula Expedition, in which over 400 other CMDRs joined in an effort to greater understand the region. She also contributed to the Galactic Nebula Expedition in the autumn of that year, visiting Colonia as part of the trip.
In 3303, during the War for Smith Stop in the NLTT 16389 system, Anna’s ship The Long Night of Solace was heavily damaged fighting for the Order of Enblackenment by the FNS Glory. A damaged power relay on the Anaconda’s bridge caused a large explosion. A piece of debris impacted and slashed the left side of Anna’s face, permanently damaging her left eye beyond saving. She was lucky to still be alive and spent a month recovering in a medical facility where her left eye had to be replaced with a cybernetic alternative.
While still recovering from her injuries, Anna decided to step aside from combat for a while, and started a passenger transportation business, which was highly successful and made her a vast fortune.
Anna recently pledged her allegiance to Aisling Duval and purchased her fleet’s flagship, an Imperial Cutter bearing the name, Shadow of Intent. The ship is fitted out with the very best combat technology and can be seen at the forefront of the Orders fleets.
