Emryn Fisher was born to Frederick Fisher and Caroline Fisher on December 1st, 3285 in the emergency medical facilities of Medupe City, Cubeo, The Empire of Achenar.

Her parents were miners by trade, and members of the Cubeo Patron's Principles faction. Frederick and Caroline didn't settle down after the birth, rather they took the infant Emryn with them in their travels. She grew up aboard ships, stations, and the occasional moon or small planet.

She was provided a proper education, if rather general in scope rather than a proper Imperial education she would have had elsewhere. This has of course resulted in her being a bit worthless at politics.

Sometimes there were kids, but usually there wasn't. And it was often that she was confined to quarters anyway. This gave her plenty of time to play games and simulations, but not a whole lot of time to witness the world outside of whatever habitat or station her parents were staying at.

Her teenage years were a bit better, as she could finally find odd jobs to do around the station and habitats. She was often trusted, if not in working areas, then at least the more public areas of the facilities. She started being trained to fly by her parents at this time, which was a harrowing time for all involved. She saved what she could in the hopes of one day pursuing corporate sponsorship as a pilot.

Then one morning while doing some training simulations Emryn received an anonymous message. The phrase "Where you'll find the answer." is written along with an encoded data packet. The contents were encrypted but there was a plain text header that indicated it was the pass-key for safety deposit box in the care of Cubeo Patron's Principles.

She initially contacted a representative, but Emryn was told that as long as the pass-key was encrypted it was absolutely useless. The only lawful way to decrypt it herself would be to obtain the encryption key. The representative refused to give Emryn any information on the account. As she ended the contact she noticed another message had arrived during the call.

A formal invitation to an academy representing the Pilots Federation. The invitation explained that all costs were covered by an anonymous benefactor, but no further explanation was given. Despite the uncertainty and mystery, Emryn chose to accept. During her training and education she scored high marks in ground operations, but also did well all around. She chose to take courses and training, sometimes third-party, to prepare herself for a career in Corporate Security. She defended that choice by stating that it was solid and reliable money.

Several years later, CMDR Emryn's piloting a scrap Asp Explorer that her parents have purchased and had fixed up for her. She's been bouncing around doing temporary contracts for corporations initially, but just about anyone that paid after awhile. She never did anything repugnant, but Emryn never bothered to worry much about a jobs illegality so long as it wasn't morally void.

Emryn briefly threw in with Lavigny's Legion, but found it to be an ill fit for her.

Nowadays she hunts for someplace to settle in, some kind of purpose or career. She's returned to Cubeo in the hopes of attaching herself to Princess Aisling Duval's supporters, to find work that benefits the Princess. A move she makes partly out of selfish reasons, but partly too out of a desire to do some good in the galaxy.
