Born on Mars, her mother was a biologist, her father an exo archeologist. kris was never interested in those things although she passively learned about ancient civilisations by growing up on many dig sites on distant planets. Probably spending more time in space than many pilots. Through all their journeys Kris would often spend time on the bridge talking with pilots and navigators.

She saw the military as a way get flight rating and signed up for the Federal Navy as soon as she was old enough. Passing the aptitude test for the air corps, she flew a variety of ships and fighters during her 15 years of service. Rising through the ranks quickly and assigned to a special ops unit for a few years, Kris has extensive training in combat tactics.

After an honourable discharge she retired at the rank of Major and tried to settle down in the Gebel system but still yearned for flight. A billboard for The Pilots Federation caught her eye so she applied, selling everything she couldn't fit into her bag and booked passage on a ship bound for Matet.

She has spent the past years since leaving the Navy running a trading ship. Some rumour that she has underworld connections.
New worlds, new ships awaited.
