>----- PERSONNEL HISTORY -----<

Paul Anthony Delaney Jr. was born on Nanomam in 3281, current President Zachary Hudson's preferred headquarters. The son of Core Dynamics mechanic Paul Delaney and university professor Elizabeth Delaney, his future was set well and comfortable. With a particular disdain for the Empire and a distinct dissuasion for the Alliance set in at an early age, the inevitable path of enlisting in the Federal Navy was all too apparent. Paul attended high school and graduated from the John Tiernny University, still on Nanomam, with his eyes set on astrophysics. Unfortunately, he found a significantly hard time finding work within his home system, and he had no wishes to relocate to the edge of the bubble to study systems from there. Within a year of his graduation on May 21st, 3303 and at the age of 22, he was back in a house with his parents. Paul eventually gave into the desire to study the cosmos, though in a far different form than that of which he had previously envisioned.

Paul enlisted into the Federal Navy as a sensor technician on board a Farragut-class battle cruiser, hoping the cruiser would be transferred to the further portions of Federal space and providing an opportunity for work by monitoring star characteristics for heat distribution and mooring locations. The work, although dull, provided decent pay and a safe place to live, as well as the opportunity to study stars daily while navigation control plotted jump points. This slow-paced moving around the bubble slowly began to lay the foundation for Paul's wanderlust. After a year of service in the Federal Navy and attaining the rank of Petty Officer, Paul did not re-enlist and purchased a Sidewinder with his savings.

As a new member of the Pilots Federation, Paul's first intention was to ensure that he would not be swept up in intergalactic politics. Instead, he had finally decided to fulfill his own journey.  He ran multiple independent missions ranging from cargo runs to data transport to small bounties, eventually acquiring his way through multiple different ship types over the course of two years. Paul found himself in a position of strength; He could still serve the Federation without being stuck on a dead-end job as a sensor technician. He signed on with the Federal Navy once again, electing to perform multiple roles such as a light enforcer, cargo transporter, and data courier. When Paul turned 24, he had earned the rank of Chief Petty Officer and had slowly shifted to cargo running. He applied for Warrant Officer Candidacy, and was promptly selected due to his long service history. Paul graduated the Warrant Officer Academy at 25 years of age, and set out to fulfill his true desire once more: Studying the stars.

Paul had possessed the Diamondback Explorer for many years at that point. It seemed only natural to him that he serve the Federation in a way that he enjoyed. This would turn into long-range exploration.  He spent increasingly long times travelling the galaxy, his most notable independent trip being halfway to the southern edge of the galaxy. This persisted for some time, before he discovered further opportunities.

The Exodus Coalition provided new fields and green pastures for Paul. Over 300 members and multiple jobs to choose from was far too good of an opportunity to pass up. Though he remained in the Federal Navy, Paul signed up with EXO Logistics to get a better taste for the unique factions of the galaxy. Logistics provided an excuse to perform multiple roles. He could ferry cargo, collect exploration data, and hunt bounties, all while helping the local station maintain security. Paul recently returned from a support expedition 8k light years outside of the bubble, and is currently on his return from his own self-proclaimed expedition to Sagittarius A*.
