Garrick was born on Sol, but his parents were explorers on a Megaship that traveled the Galaxy. On their way back to Federation Space, the Megaship was attacked by pirates. The Federation was slow in it's response to send security forces, so Garrick's parents were killed and Garrick left for dead in the aftermath of the attack. He was eventually rescued by Federation forces but blamed the Federation's slow response for the death of his parents.

He drifted from station to station for the rest of his younger years, and gradually drifted into Empire space. The Emperor's hard stance against crime and piracy appealed to Garrick, and he joined the Pilot's Federation with the intention of fighting piracy across the galaxy, and spreading the Law and Order of the Empire.

He spends his time supporting Empire factions across the galaxy, but sometimes when the constant violence wears him down, he takes off exploring across the galaxy to follow in his parents' footsteps, and make discoveries.
