Serafina, or Sera, is the daughter of a Sirius Security Commander. Most of her young life was spent moving about from station to station. Given the nature of his work her father was exceptionally protective of her and her mother. This resulted in her having a very sheltered lifestyle growing up. Her natural curiosity of things became harder and harder to contain as she got older. She eventually applied for the Pilot federation Academy, despite her parents’ misgivings.

It took her several tries to get into the Pilot Federation Academy as she had to teach herself everything from scratch. Once she got in she excelled and became quite the pilot and her eagerness to explore really started to shine. She got her wings on August 1, 3306 and is eager to see the galaxy, on her own terms.
