I was born to a poor family. Just a kid working crap jobs, with crap as a situation and big dreams of the stars and ships... My folks died to a plague at some point and I stowed away on a medical vessel, which got attacked by pirates. I was kidnapped by those pirates. The leader, Shoals, took a liking to me. So much so he taught me about ships, everything there is to know. Guess he thought of me as his son. Right up until I stole a Sidewinder when the Federation came knocking. Luckily, my name was just MIA, so I convinced the Feds I wasn't with the pirates. I even went on to get my license, and got to keep the ship to boot... After it got cleaned up, of course... The rest? Well, I guess it's history...

That story of course is totally true... Or a total line if crap. Who knows? My background doesn't matter. What does is the fact that you asked for someone smart, someone capable, an Explorer who's also smart like a Scientist, but can fight. Well, I'm here. So why are we wasting time?
