Ranius was always Born to fly amongst the Stars, there was nothing else he would do, not even walking. Adopted Early into the Imperial Navy, He was given his Callsign "Bearded Blue" flying as a combat pilot and eliminating hostile targets within local Imperial systems. Early into his career Bearded Blue signed up for the expedition which lead him to the Traikeou Nebula, over 7000ly away, to map the nebula and chart distant worlds. Upon his return, Bearded Blue took a more relaxed role in the imperial navy.

Currently he serves as flight commander to support vessels for the INV Fleet. Bearded Blue serves to eliminate key hostile forces to the imperium, ensuring imperial coffers are stocked and helping new pilots earn their combat wings upon the purposefully built multi-crew Anaconda called the INV Guiding Light; a hunter of deserters and criminals with interceptor fighters and high yeield torpedoes.
