Ean was born in Brera Horizont, a colony governed by a democratic Federation government in the Nona system.
After studying Theoretical Physics, Ean Sarnak began his career by obtaining his pilot's license at the Starpilot Academy. During this time he becomes familiar with the ideals of the Federation and the history of INRA's peace project between the Federation and the Empire due to the Thargoid threat.
After graduating from the pilots' federation, he receives a Siderwinder with which he begins his first studies and exploratory trips to the borders of the bubble.
He decides to make substantial changes to his ship, up to bringing its hyperjump from 5 to 30 light years without giving up the SRV. He thus embarks on a career as an exobiologist, trespassing with Sidy for over 15,000 light years from the bubble, recounting his journey with images and brief thoughts in the logbook.
Returning to the bubble he watches the Thargoid invasion helplessly. He clashes with the ideals of the empire which, indifferent to any project for peace between humanity, only desires economic wealth, abuse and slavery. He begins his crusade for popular freedom and democracy by enlisting as a mercenary for the federation. During this period he has the opportunity to meet other commanders with whom he shares missions for civil liberty, space research and aerospace engineering.
