Kryten Zeroth is the adopted name of a disgraced Federal naval officer emerging from exile after years in hiding. Relocating from his home in Sol, he built a new life from scratch in the Nona system.

With a pristine slate, a new identity, and a new face thanks to cosmesis, Zeroth salvaged a Sidewinder and took to the stars to rebuild his fortune and fleet, free of the yoke of militaristic machinations.

The only remnants of his past are the disdain he harbours for the Federation, and his enduring proclivity for bending the rule of law on occasion, which contributed in part to his erstwhile demise as a naval officer.
