Born somewhere in Alliance Space, Torrente's youth is spent as a police officer in the Federation, but due to circumstances undisclosed, he was kicked out of his security outfit. After a night of gambling in Eravate, he won a Sidewinder from a n00b at cards, and applied for membership at the Pilots' Federation. It is still not clear who did he had to bribe to get in, but he did. And ever since has been working towards his own riches. He started, of course, by the path of the trader, then discovering how profitable the Imperial slave market used to be.

Far from him being shamed for getting rich. He owned a set of ships in time, but eventually went under the service of Prince Elenar and the Achenar Immortals. After a period of time, he was associated with the independent Hutton Truckers, but returned to the fold of the Empire and now works at Lavigny's Legion where he daily boasts about the feat of stealing an "Imperial Corvette" from the Sol System.
