Born into an Imperial family on the 1st of October, 3279, Kyvon Dalor spent his childhood living under Imperial rule. Typically a rebellious youth, Kyvon questioned the legitimacy of the Imperial government for the majority of his adolescence. In 3305, just a week away from his 25th birthday, the Federation took control of his home system of Fusang. During this time, a period of instability caused crime rates in the area of his residence to increase dramatically. Looters raided his home and killed both of his parents, but failed to find Kyvon, who had been safely hidden in his basement by his cautious parents. Ever since this event, Kyvon blames the death of his parents on the Federation for the lack of protection they provided for his family during the time of their take-over.

Growing up in a lower-class family, Kyvon received little financial compensation for their death. He did however receive his father's severely damaged Sidewinder, which was used by his dad for trading purposes to make money for his family. Kyvon was able to fix his father's ship in a matter of months, and swore to himself that he would not rest until he avenged his parents death, and destroyed the Federation for good.
