Not much is known about his past. There are rumours that he hails from a backwater system with poor inhabitants and a on-the-brink-economy. He makes no secret about his Pirate days though he never gets into much detail about them. All one might find out is that he spared no effort to redeem himself and worked his way up to a Triple Elite Badge of the Pilots Federation.
It is very apparent that Einar seems to follow some sort of ancient form of Religion. One Finds a Silver Hammer held by a almost chainlike necklace around his neck and a Ring with Runic inscriptions. Every now and then "The Gods" get mentioned in a conversation.

Today the man owns his own Fleet and a Massive City-like Carrier witch he named The Shieldwall. His Crew working on said Carrier seems to have only positive Words about him, mentioning that good Work and Loyalty always get rewarded. These days CMDR Einar is mostly buisy Exploring but also studies the Guardians and was the first Person who found a Guardian Beacon.
