Always an underdog. I was born to a family of poor farm workers. The kind of farm where it's cheaper to employ people instead of machines. So my formative years were mostly spent stealing food and avoiding authorities. Fortunately it was an agricultural world. It's easier when you can eat what you stole. Quite early it became obvious to me that I had two options: lead a life like my parents, or figure something out. So I dreamed about a way out, wanted to break free.

The big break came when a local crime lord needed a fresh face to "expand the local offer". He loaned me the cheapest ship that can haul some cargo one can buy and I started doing runs for him. Before my first gig a bully said that even if I knew magic, I'd never make it. Hence my handle, just to rub it in.
Working for a mob was a spotty experience. Sometimes the job was nice. Sometimes you would not want to meet the people I've met. But at least I was free, and could send some money home.

When my boss had to go for unplanned vacations in the can I ended up without a job. At least the investigation didn't get wind of me. I learned mining and started working for my own. I was this close to saving for a new ship when a pirate decided I should share. Had a much better ship and I had only mining rig on mine. I get where they are coming from, times are tough and time is money. But I don't like when I'm the robbed one! I have no clue what devil whispered to me that I could have my revenge instead of accepting the setback. After giving away my precious cargo I hurried to the closest station and pulled the trigger on the new ship, even though I had to sell the adder. I didn't really like that ship - I didn't start spacing to have a gorram roof over my head! But it wasn't really mine.
You know the first rule of stealing? - "Don't get caught". I tracked the pirate down and gunned him into the void. That felt good. Turns out you can earn money by shooting people. Just have to know who. Walking into authority building surely felt wierd after all those years of avoiding them.

Unfortunately my previous boss was free again and wanted to get back to our scheme. Really didn't like that I've sold his ship. But with many of his other pilots still in jail, he didn't really have a choice. And the job was also smelly. A heist for little geisha dolls with wobbly heads? Anyway, the job went south (not my fault!) and I had to flee. Turns out the shipment was a run of another crime boss in the area (little geisha dolls?!).

So here I am, another speck in the black.
