Biography:
Finn grew up a planet, "somewhere near those people who like white shiny stuff."
For some reason he doesn't remember a lot about his time there other than the fact that spaceships weren't common there so he never got to pilot anything besides an elevator.
At some point he traveled to Ackerman Market in Eravate where he worked as tech support for docking computers which made him hate people who use them.

One day he found an advertisement for a free sidewinder and before he knew it he was flying out the mailslot with no flying lessons at all.
It is unknown where he got his Pilots Federation licence without any flying lessons, "Well I found this thing somewhere and it looked valuable so I thought I'd take it with me just in case. Before the end of the day I found myself in a sidewinder boosting out the mailslot with flight controllers yelling at me through the radio, I never returned there. Ooh I've never seen that button, I wonder what it does."

For some reason he managed to end up in Altair at Solo Orbiter and started working for the federal navy. After living there for a while he decided to join Canonn and head over to the Pleiades Nebula for science.
While out there he got a message from Paladin Consortium, shortly after he joined them and moved everything he owned to LFT 37.
After flying around the bubble for a while to make money and talking to some engineers he disappeared into the unknown in an asp explorer, occasionally sending some postcards back to Onnes.

As you can see my licence is completely valid:
