Born and raised on the borders of the Bubble, Isabella Gunn has a strong distaste for those from the more central areas of the Bubble generally viewing them as pampered and selfish.

Isabella has no recollection of her parents and assumes they are dead. She was raised on a pirate ship called the King of Spades, and the crew was like her family as she grew up. Eventually though she had to go her own way.

Always being curious about what was beyond the Bubble, Isabella bought herself a little Diamondback Explorer and headed out to find the unknown.

Unfortunately a miscalculation when using a jet cone boost left her ship drifting and damaged in the unknown. Which might have been the end for her, but thankfully a passing ship took pity on her and stopped to help. The people who stopped to help her as it turned out were Utopians, and they left some pamphlets with her to take a look at.

The ideas in the pamphlet stuck deep at something in the core of Isabella and when she reached the Bubble she headed right for Utopian space to learn more.

Isabella is a fanatic believer in the vision of the Antals and views aiding in bringing this vision to fruition as her life's meaning.
