Scopulus Andreas was born on Zorya 2 at the Taine Enterprise Outpost in 3269. He moved around from station to station within Federation space while his father worked in various jobs. He attended the Vincennes Institute at the age of 18 to become a pilot. A year later, he joined the Federal Navy Auxiliary. After becoming a pilot, Scopulus took up a career in corporate security and eventually became Security Director at Everest Co-Op in 3294. In 3297, he was introduced to the Society of Space Explorers and Adventurers. He began to work with various expeditions, and became Team Leader in the Kali Expedition.

In 3307 Scopulus joined the Pilots Federation. It was through their records he discovered he was descended from an old Imperial family. Several hundred years ago, a certain Alax Andreas had been a friend of the Emperor. Alex had a modest estate and proper family history, but was not high up in the Imperial social order, and so the Emperor gave him the title "King" and turned the Estate of Cardoness into a Kingdom. However, just a couple generation later, a certain Godfay Andreas was accused of murder and so fled the Empire. After some 300 years his descendants found themselves living in the Federation, non the wiser. The system of Theta Indi had put a notice out looking for the proper owner of the estate. If a claimant was not found soon, the estate would fall under state ownership. Scopulus laid claim and after a short process was recognized as the heir and made a King of the Empire. The accounts had accrued a handsome amount of interest and he suddenly found himself rather wealthy. However, there was a lot of red tape to go through before the funds could be released.

In the meantime, he founded Andreas Enterprises and began trading commodities. In recognition of his business success, the Pilots Federation awarded him the title of Elite in trading. Around this same time, he was promoted to the rank of Admiral in the Federal Navy Auxiliary. He then asked to be placed on the inactive reserves list, which the Federation did.

In March of 3307, the last director of the Society died leaving Scopulus as the last full member of the SSEA. He swore to rebuild the organization and began looking for new members. In May of that year, the Cardoness bank account was opened to him and he used the money to fund buying a Fleet Carrier which he then gave over to be used by the Society and named the SSEA Kungaloosh.
