Having gotten her pilot's license in 3304, Thapala Cyan slowly worked her way up over the following years, until being noticed by more influential people, and pledged her allegiance to the Empress in 3306 and attended the Navy Academy.

After tragically losing her first ship, the Stargazer, in 3306, she had to spend some time getting back on her feet; finally earning enough to buy the Aurora, she pledged to never lose another ship.

Having made something of a name for herself in the business, and meeting an old friend from the academy among the first responders after the NMLA attack on major starports in 3307, she decided to hire her as a co-pilot.

Ever since they have taken on various jobs, from the usual bounty hunting to long range exploration to covert espionage to privateering and some good old boring cargo hauling on the side, but also still not shying away from providing humanitarian aid.
