A thrill-seeker by anyone's standards, DangerPencil earned his nickname after two nearly identical accidents. Rescue & Medical Records indicate that in the first incident, the note-keeping pencil that he always kept on the navigation console was thoroughly embedded in his left eye when his body was dug out of the side of a canyon on ACHLEOUS 8A, 12km below the planet’s average surface level. During the second incident, another pencil passed all the way through his right eye, brain, and skull at an estimated speed of 10,000mps during a tragic Speed-bowling incident that ended in an unscheduled lithobraking event. Extensive cybernetic reconstruction was required on both occasions. His crew pilot was never found. We’re told he has begun taking notes on his ship computer.

A general carelessness for self-preservation and need for adventure and strife has led DangerPencil to take part in conflicts for the Federation, Empire, and Alliance alike, in all corners of inhabited space. Several forays into high-stakes commodity trading earned him the Pilot’s Federation Trade Elite status. However, an oddly deep-rooted sense of justice persists in driving him back to anti-piracy and bounty hunting efforts again and again. Though he has yet to be granted the Pilot’s Federation Combat Elite status, the significant number of bounties that DangerPencil has collected has left him a very wealthy man, and the purchase and christening of his Victory-Class Carrier, SUMMA EXTREMIS, has rekindled his sense of adventure.
