Born on Dremmilsmir 3, Loreus was originally interested in many scientific fields, space flight and combat, as well as philosophy, social economics and political science, and even astrobiology. Due to his parents low financial status and a constant rebellious nature, he was forced to take a working class job in a nearby orbital port. Unsatisfied with unskilled labor, he became a welder apprentice and quickly gained a reputation as a skilled tradesmen.
Although he had a solid career as a welder and fabricator, he always dreamed of becoming a commander and exploring the freedom of the stars.
