Meridius Dex was born in the Vaka system at the White Point station to parents of modest nobility. Yet the family line was both prosperous and steeped in Imperial military tradition. Following said tradition, 'Dex' (as he was often called by shipmates) left to seek his own fortune near the Core systems and their factional warfare.

Since departing for the Hyades sector, CMDR Dex has steadily climbed through the ranks of the Federation, building both his fortune and status. His plans for the future are to establish a reputation as a proficient bounty hunter and mercenary, finally undertaking a journey of deep space exploration.

Upon the journey's end, he shall return to the Empire as a true nobleman of great status and renown.
