Known characteristics: Fiercely Independent and of singular focus. Will ensure the sovereignty of independent factions against the malevolent powers within the Galaxy at all costs.

Known affiliations: Guaderios Wing (Flechti), ACE Exploration (LHS 3097), Union of Jath for Equality (Jath), Albion Interstellar (Eithure), Mercenaries of the 26th Division (53 Nu Serpentis), Phalanx Grand Legion (Djaghire), Sentinel Escorts and Security (Ocshodhis), The Stellar Remnants (HIP 77129). Other connections are suspected but currently unknown.

Background: Little is known of this Commanders early life. No records can be linked to his birth, education or employment history. Following analysis of multiple credit accounts linked to Spartan One it is believed that sometime in 3307 he received a substantial credit transfer (believed to be in the billions of credits) from a mysterious benefactor. Following this influx of credits, Spartan One quickly established a Major Alliance of Independent Squadrons, known as the Independent Naval Coalition. Its main function is to ensure the sovereignty of Independent Factions found throughout human occupied space. It is clear he has received advanced military training in both ground combat and space operations. Battlefield reports indicate that he carries advanced ground combat weaponry and armour and commands a fleet of heavily modified star ships.

Mysterious Benefactor: Although the identity of this individual remains unknown it is believed that that the benefactor may be a disillusioned imperial that began sympathising with small independent factions unable to take on the might of the vast political powers found throughout human occupied space. The relationship between the benefactor and Spartan One is currently unknown.

Thargoid interactions: Information from the Pilots Federation database indicates that Spartan One has not conducted any combat operations against the Thargoid Race. Monitoring stations in the Synuefe, Coalsack and Pleiades regions of space suggest that he has visited a number of Guardian and Thargoid sites and is in possession of anti thargoid weaponry, however these weapons have not yet been used in conflict with the Thargoids. Recent reports indicate he is actively working against Azimuth Biotech and the agent known as “Salvation”. His motives for this course of action remain unclear and his stance does not appear to represent any INCO mandate or directive.
