I was born in White City, Beta Trianguli Australis. A descendent of a group of refugees that left Afghanistan for Australia, Sol system, way back before the human diaspora began. My name harks back to a heroic wrestler, or so I have been told.

Like everyone in these post-diaspora days, my history is interesting, but honestly not all that relevant. So enough of that.

I grew up in a mushroom farm. A dark, humid, and musty place, all closed in environments, claustrophobic. I would watch the Type-9 carriers bringing in bio-waste and agronomic treatments and say to myself "there is light, space, and dry air out in the galaxy". I swore I would get out there one day. Finally, I did.

I have a small family; a daughter who is the light of my life, and an estranged ex-wife. My daughter got out of the mushroom farm to one of the bright shining universities where she is studying the Soontill relics and their impact on modern literature. I will admit, I don't really understand it at all.
