Danielius was born into the Viridius family of Emerald, Cemiess, the family migrating there from Achenar once the terraforming was completed. The family managed to survive through the war between the Federation and the Empire for the control of the moon. Unfortunately for the family, they lost a considerable amount of wealth during the peace talks. The Emerald Treaty was signed, giving the sovereign rights of the system to the Empire but at a cost of the abolition of Imperial Slavery in Cemiess. This was a problem as the Viridian's were an Imperial Slaving patronage and the dealing of Imperial Slaves to Clients was the main source of income. Before moving to Emerald, the Viridian's were wealthy Imperial Patricians now their wealth was declining and they sought new ventures. The Viridian's moved to agriculture and still "illegally" brokered slaves. The Viridians used the rest of their fortune to buy out several plantations on Emerald in the 3140s. Now the 3300s, the Viridian's own a sizable chunk of Emerald's plantations and have roots throughout Imperial space.

Danielius Viridius - born 3282 on Emerald is the 5th child of the head of the Viridius house, that currently being Primus Viridius III. Due to being low in succession for the Viridius House, Danielius was instructed and mentored from quite a early age to prepare himself for the Imperial Navy. At times Danielius viewed this as his Father not rather caring if he passed or not just the honour he would bring to the house if he became successful within the Imperial Navy. Regardless of his thoughts Danielius pushed through the delightful childhood and at the age of 18, he was whisked off to the Imperial Academy at Facece. Danielius began his Junior Officer training aspiring to one day to command a Imperial Majestic Class Interdictor. Yet this was not to be the case. Danielius didn't really excel at team organisation and command, it frankly didn't suit him much. However, his esteemed education and the intelligence it provided him, Danielius found himself learning at the Imperial Naval Intelligence Corp. After graduating, Danielius was a Junior Intelligence Officer for the CCC (300th) Legio, a frontier fleet based out on the extreme boundary of the Imperial bubble. The days were dull here and most Intelligence work was rooting out pirate bases and predicting their movements. After two years, Danielius requested a transfer to the DXXVIII (528th) Legio. Immediately upon transferring Danielius was placed within the Office of Civic Operations and Relations as an Junior Intelligence Officer, intercepting political rivals, data couriering, data acquisition and enemy observation. Finally Danielius was at a place that was more engaging to him and he now continues his journey as an Initiate of the Mighty Lavigny Legion.
