Florian Geyer is the son of a disgraced minor noble from the Thule System. He began his career as a pilot for the local branch of the INF with a commission purchased by his father. When political rivals arrested his family in a plot, Florian deserted in his Courier and fled to Federation space. Adopting the nom de guerre “Florian Geyer,” he began a career as a mercenary, fighting first for the Federal Auxiliaries in local conflicts against Imperial factions but later striking out as an independent pilot.

Florian fights for credits, not ideals, and has worked as a bounty hunter, an assassin, and pirate in equal measure. While he cares little for politics, both local and galactic, Florian harbors a grudge against Denton Patreus for his allies' role in his family's downfall. Given his reputation, Florian has worked closely with numerous crime syndicates associated with Archon Delaine over the years, and now considers Harma his new home.
