The son of a spacer, raised in Barnard's Star, CMDR Seviss served for nearly 20 years in the local security forces before signing up for the Pilot's Federation Licensing Program in Dromi. Upon graduation, he returned to Barnard's Star and began service through Federal 10th Fleet. While still a junior officer in the logistics branch, 10th Fleet was disbanded, reconstituted as Fifth Fleet, and disbanded again. CMDR Seviss was selected for his first Field Grade assignment in the newly established Federal Fleet Marine Force, S-4 Logistics Department. Quickly promoted to S-4 Department Head and diplomat, CMDR Seviss was ordered to relieve CMDR Viper 6 as Commandant.
