Peter Ruhlmann was born to his parents on Ray Gateway in the Diaguandri system. The eldest of three, he matured responsibly, getting his first job working in a kitchen for local pilots at the age of fifteen. While not free from the occasional misstep, he kept his nose clean and his mind open to the universe.

A cargo pilot himself, Peter's father often tried to get him to try out flying for herself, offering to take him up during his cargo routes. Never interested, he refused until around his ninetieth birthday. Something just clicked in his mind and he decided to try it out. From his first takeoff, he knew he was hooked on flying.

He learned to fly from local instructors and eventually became an instructor himself. His adventures were limited to short hops around the Diaguandri system until he was hired to move passengers by a local liner company. Excited for the opportunity, he moved thousands of people across galaxies and longed to dream of what was out beyond the black of each new system he visited.

A few years later, he had saved up enough credits to buy himself a small, personal ship. He left the liner company and decided that it was his time to explore, trade, and find out what the universe has in store for him.
