Her brother Expréssion, suffered from radiation exposure when he was just a small boy; however, in a unique way. Being a premature baby, Quadasha had to undergo treatment and spent three years in the hospital. At the age of four, she started suffering from unknown diseases due to the hostile environment on Mars. A blood transfusion donated from her brother made a radical change in her health. Due to highly exposed radiation, her parents died within a couple of years, and another family, close friends of her parents, adopted her. She was separated from her brother since he was under the protection of their uncle, who lived in a different settlement on the other side of the planet, and she never got to meet with him again.
Her foster parents gave her a good education, and after college, she became a doctor and a biologist, studying lifeforms on the terraformed planet of Mars. She never ventured out of her home world, and while her friends enrolled themselves with the Federation and earned their ranks, she did not care at all. Regarded as one of the top biologists working hand in hand with Exobiology labs, she was interested in all the different life forms that existed outside the Sol system. However, she never showed any interest in traveling and exploring systems on her own. She always had the desire to visit planet Earth and learn more about the holy grail of life, but this was not possible since Earth had elevated levels of radiation
After receiving a message from her foster mother informing her that her father had passed away, she travelled to grieve for him. They had never mentioned anything to her; however, her mother had only a few years left to live, so she opened up and revealed the truth about her real family. Saddened by the news, she desperately wanted to know more, especially about her older brother. Without any knowledge of his whereabouts or who he might be, she could only hope that one day their paths would cross and they would meet.
Years passed by, and civil war struck Mars. Short of doctors, she had to attend to patients. It was on her 98th birthday when she had a transfer to a space outpost. Her role was dealing with the casualties. One night while assisting a team of medics, they came across a damaged escape pod. Although severely damaged, it was still intact. They resuscitated a young pilot, a female in her early 20s. Rehabilitated, this pilot made satisfactory progress. Quadasha would monitor her and administer medicine. She made friends and shared their experiences. This pilot described the events that happened six months earlier when she was on a Xeno hunting mission with a couple of other fearless commanders. She described how Quadasha resembled an Elite commander she had fought the Thargoids with. Unable to remember his name due to partial memory loss, Quadasha was optimistic about a close match to her brother.
Growing increasingly eager to search for her lost brother, Quadasha scoured for DNA traces of her family. There was a hospital on Mars where they kept old records. By matching her DNA, she managed to find details of her original family. Listed in the old archives, she found her parents' and brother's details. His name was Expréssion de Exupéry. So, she realized her last name was de Exupéry. Little did she know; her brother had a shady career in his early days, and consequences led to his memory loss. The name Expréssion was not in the records.
One day, Quadasha woke up thinking about what her friend had said to her. She made a decision to embark on something she had never done before. She decided to check Federation ranks. She knew, from the little information obtained, that her brother was an Elite in Combat.
Quadasha enrolled herself in the Federal Academy, where she embarked on a long journey to reach her destination and achieve her goal of finding her brother. She remained alert for any information or anyone who could assist her, diligently paying attention to the teachings of her superiors and everything she encountered. Among the various categories, Exploration piqued her interest; she envisioned discovering new species and eagerly exploring remote corners of the galaxy. After advancing in her Federal Naval rank, she reunited with a couple of old friends, bounty hunters, who were engaged in a heated discussion about their meager pay.
On one occasion, they were recounting their involvement in Xeno hunting, a risky yet profitable venture. Quadasha recalled that her brother had also been involved in Xeno hunting. As these commanders continued their storytelling, one of them described the destruction of his Corvette by a Basilisk interceptor variant and the harrowing experience of an interceptor attempting to scoop up his escape pod. An Elite commander intervened, saving his life. 'Commander XpressioN, I owe him my life,' he said. His friends were all astonished by this story, fully aware that meeting one of the top-ranking Elite commanders was a great privilege.
Quadasha could not sleep that night, meditating about who this commander, XpressioN, might be. His commander’s name resembled that of her brother. She wanted to know more. At the Pilots Federation HQ, she gathered information about Elite players. She discovered that Shinrarta Dezhra was a system frequented by these Elite commanders who met up and conducted business. This was a permit-locked system, only available for Elite commanders. She made up her mind to rank up in one of the categories. Ranking as an Elite was not for the faint-hearted and often entailed an exceptionally long journey. She made friends with a couple of Bounty Hunters who helped her build up her wealth. From that time onwards, she was known as QuadAlert, as she was very sharp with the trigger, and pirates did not stand a chance. On her 121st birthday, she visited the MacDonald Settlement Station in the Alcor system. Owning a couple of ships, QuadAlert needed a Fleet Carrier. She became a proud owner of a Drake-Class Carrier that day. She needed a name for her carrier. Undecided, she scrolled through the database of registered carriers, each of which had its corresponding owner.
Scrolling through the list to get an idea of what name she could give her carrier, she learned that CMDR XpressioN had purchased his Fleet Carrier from the same station and named it TFCS Guillaume Tell. She requested to name her carrier TFCS Guillaume Tell II. The initial acronym referred to the squadron the carrier was affiliated with. At this point, it was obvious to her that she should enroll with 'The Fatherhood' squadron. She was cunning, knowing this would grant her permission to dock on CMDR XpressioN's carrier. She made new friends within the squadron's community and searched for the location of TFCS Guillaume Tell. Located in the Pleiades Nebula sector, she managed to find the system and the carrier.
It was an exhaustive voyage since QuadAlert did not have an efficient exploration ship. She managed to get clearance to land on TFCS Guillaume Tell. As she disembarked, she headed through the lounge. While walking through the corridors, commanders kept on staring at her. She was quite embarrassed. The resemblance with her brother was quite noticeable. The onboard medic was passing by when he looked at her and asked who she might be. He stopped and asked her about her business on the carrier. She told him she was looking for her brother, 'Expression de Exupéry,' in a soft voice. 'Now that is a name I've never come across,' he said. Looking at her, he knew the resemblance with Commander XpressioN was quite astonishing, so he asked her for a blood sample to check her DNA. She was anxious to meet with XpressioN. The medic officer was excited to reveal what he had just discovered.
Having just returned from a long expedition, XpressioN had important matters to deal with. On a fresh new day, QuadAlert met with her new friend who had paged XpressioN for a meeting to discuss urgent matters. XpressioN told him to meet him on the Carrier's bridge. The Medical officer introduced XpressioN to his sister, QuadAlert. Surprised, XpressioN took a moment to digest the news. Still confused, he shared the knowledge he had about his family. They paid tribute to their home world on Mars. QuadAlert is now a crucial part of XpressioN's crew and works with him on specially assigned intrigue projects. One day, she too will become Triple Elite.
