I know that this is supposed to be about the player's character, but I just thought I would tell a little bit about my real identity. I am a male in my sixties. I live in the USA and have enjoyed video games since I first played DOOM when it first came out many years ago. A friend and I would connect our computers using telephone modems and spend all night playing. We went through Doom 1 & 2, Hexen 1 & 2, Quake 1 & 2, Half Life, Unreal, until life got in the way and we had less and less time to play.

Eventually I went into a Game Stop and told the associate that I enjoyed playing Hexen and he recommended a game that had just came out and was getting great reviews called Oblivion. Well, that led to Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, and eventually Starfield.

A few years before Starfield however, I was in the mood for a space game. My son and I did some searching and found Elite Dangerous. We bought it and have been playing it ever since. I know that it has it's pros and cons, but in general I really like this game. It is a game that I can play at my pace. I'm not very good at it but that's OK with me. I can still have fun doing things at a Senior Citizen's pace and ability. I love the narrative that Frontier developers have provided and am enjoying fighting in the Thargoid war. I appreciate all of the hard work that has been put into INARA as well. For me it has been a great addition to the game.

Well, Cocijo has just headed for the bubble, so... Gotta go fight Cocijo. :-)
