I started making my money in the ice rings of Coriccha 9, mining low temp diamonds. The rings are depleted now, but I was hitting them hard when they were good.

I'd always wanted a fleet of ships, and after a couple of years...decades really, I finally managed to get all the ships I wanted. I was never one for ranking with the feds and imps - why would I? I was raised in Alliance space and am firmly independent.

The real hard work started only in the last couple of years. I became involved in a startup that paid good. Real good. And all it required was shifting tritium fuel between station and Fleet Carriers, rarely further than 1ls per trip. I ended up a multibillionaire in only a few weeks and bought myself a carrier.

Things were going well until that maniac Wycherley fired off his "superweapon", and we all know what happened there. It pissed off the Thargoids and they wiped the floor with us, then when some strange spiral things the size of a small planet started coming towards us from the nebulae I figured it was time to run.

So now I'm in my carrier at the Great Annihilator, helping maintain a new bubble, far away from the Sol bubble, hauling, mapping, mining...I think we're safe out here.
