Tarlax (real name Tarmight) was the first and so far only dragon to join the Pilots Federation. Tarlax is a daring, adventurous and a bit of a hotshot pilot. He is an avid explorer and seeks to learn more about the stars far beyond the reaches of human inhabited space. He serves no governing body and only fights for the common good of those around him. After barely escaping the misfiring of the Proteus Wave, he dedicates his time to the war against the Thargoids, destroying Thargoid ships, rescuing survivors from damaged starports and from the Titans themselves.
