Meressa Summers is a bookish woman with few accolades to her career within the Pilot’s Federation. Considering herself a middle of the road pilot her strong work ethic sees her often taking unassuming jobs hauling cargo or passengers from system to system, preferring honest day to day work over heroic daring.

Coming from a Patron family on Conversion in the Achenar system the Summers family has never made a large mark on Imperial politics but lives comfortably. Telinne, Meressa’s younger sister, put herself into debt when both sisters were young leading to them selling themselves into Imperial slavery. Due to their lineages honorable service both sisters served Senators on Capitol for years until Meressa earned her full citizenship once again. To further assist in paying off her sister’s much larger debt Meressa became a pilot seeking credits and status among the stars. Though her dreams originally brought her to space seeking glory, the reality of space life helped Meressa to find routine. Perhaps someday in a distant star system she can rekindle her old dreams.
