Nilah "Pranafox" Karamenos was born on 6 October, 3285 to a somewhat dysfunctional lower-middle-class Federal family in Akandi. She was born 14" (35.6cm) in height, and 11lbs 08oz (5.2kg). Using proprietary cerebral scan technology, the delivering staff at the medical facility where Nilah was born were able to deduce that were something not done, she would experience severe dysphoria as a result of changes during pubescence -- her parents made the loving decision to allow her Despin conversion at birth because of this information, vowing to never allow a child to experience that level of suffering. However, after the separation between her father and mother, Nilah's father (who became her primary caregiver) fell into misinformation and indoctrination regarding Despin conversion and, ultimately, transgenderism and sex reassignment as a whole.

Due to unstated traumas during her childhood involving her family as well as her friendships and other interpersonal relationships, Nilah (who is on the autism spectrum) would mature into adulthood with a somewhat severe case of borderline personality disorder. Despite this, due to the Despin conversion at birth, she grew well into a body she felt comfortable in and skin she could learn to love.

Nilah's career started taking shape from early on in her childhood development as she showed intense levels of interest in, and fixation on aviation, space travel and weaponry. It's up for debate whether her interest in more traditionally "boyish" (by outdated cultural standards) subjects and objects of fixation, as well as her clear attraction to her same sex, may have contributed to the indoctrinated anti-trans pipeline her father fell down -- but at the point of her adult life starting, his involvement in it ended.

It was from her 17th birthday that she would pursue official education in flight -- both atmospheric and cosmonautical. She would then, on her 18th, be shipped to Federal Flight School and referred to the Pilot's Federation due to her high scores on school exams and performance in test flights to become a CMDR. She took on the callsign of "Ilionikoi" due to her at-the-time obsession with the ancient stories of an Old Earth bronze-age city-state by the name of Ilion -- or Troy -- until later on her clever and fox-like nature mixed with a more settled interest in natural biology -- earning her the affectionate, albeit teasing, nickname of "Pranafox" (from prana, a type of water-lily, and the clever red fox).

Nilah is a fiery, hot-headed warrior-at-heart, and even upon her involvement with YKE Technologies in 3308, her stance on Human-Thargoid relations (being that peace should ultimately be pursued outside of the bubble -- but any incursions by Thargoid invading fleets inside the bubble should be met with harsh pushback therein) led to her eventually joining the counter-invasion war efforts within the bubble, aiding in the destruction of both Titan Taranis and Titan Leigong as well as pushing back several systems around Leigong. Her primary focus is on combat; although she also has a passion for shipbuilding, engineering and humanitarian efforts in the fields of evacuation, supply delivery and search-and-rescue.
